These form as part of our traditional framed artworks and all undergo professional framing using natural wood and high-quality mount board, these give a more classic look and feel compared to our glass and metal frames. Each piece comes with a hand-scripted label containing the common and/or botanical name of the plant specimen and our Velt authenticity wax logo seal. These pieces are very special and can tie up a room by adding a touch of sophistication and class.

    Lead Times

    Each product is handmade from start to finish and takes approximately 2-6 weeks from order/deposit payment. It’s not a quick process which is why we take pride in every sale we make. We are proud to be able to ship locally and internationally and we uphold a promise to our environment that we will only use environmentally friendly materials, during our production and packaging processes.

    Important Info

    Because all frames are handmade, slight variations in the product may occur. The foliage used is dependent on what is available and may differ slightly from the images. We try our best to make each piece as close to the example as possible but due to the nature of the product, this is not always possible.
     
    VELT Designs is not responsible for any installation or transportation damage that occurs. We can repair damages, but at the client's cost. Clients are welcome to collect artworks from my Cape Town studio or arrange their own courier. 

    Specimens should be kept in a dry place out of direct sunlight to ensure the foliage does not fade over time.
